Our People

The Decatur County Community Foundation has been helping lead the charge towards a stronger community in Decatur County. We’re able to do this because of the fantastic board members and staff members we have, along with the generous donors in our community.

Our Staff

The Decatur County Community Foundation staff oversees day-to-day operations, including Administration, Community Strategies, Donor and Private Foundation Services, Finance, and Marketing.

Executive Director

Her day-to-day responsibilities include connecting people with their philanthropic interests, working with local government on community issues, helping families establish their giving structures, working with and collaborating with non-profits, working on next-gen philanthropy, and listening to the community and sharing what she’s learning.

Tami is hardly ever seen without a smile on her face and brings energy, smiles, and positivity wherever she goes.

Jenny Schebler

Scholarships Manager

Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing and facilitating scholarship applications, handling accounts payable and receivable, and making sure that the office runs efficiently.

Jenny is a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a good laugh. She rode a Bird scooter for the first time in Arizona and is now a mobile pro.

Darin Miley

Grants Manager

His day-to-day responsiblities include sifting through grant forms for completeness, compiling grant packets for the different cycles, and cutting checks to the awarded organizations.

Darin is a master at recommending your next favorite Netflix show and enjoys bringing surprise donuts in for all.

Daniel Fayette

Marketing Manager

His day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating high-level marketing goals, planning social media efforts, maintaining and updating the website, and producing high-value media content for inbound marketing.

He also accepts any challengers that want to have a ping-pong showdown.

Alex Sefton

Alex Sefton

Public Relations Manager

His day-to-day responsibilities include keeping the Foundation’s audience in-the-know about all the great things happening at DCCF. He also handles all donation entry, reporting, and follow-up for the Foundation.

Throughout the day, you might find Alex quoting “The Office,” playing with Ollie the office dog, or fetching coffee for Sue.

Administrative Assistant

Her day-to-day responsibilities include answering the phone, coordinating with other office staff to schedule key meetings, taking minutes, and conducting archival research and filing.

Sue brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the office. Her weaknesses include sweets, especially the pie from Storie’s, and coffee.
