The two most prestigious scholarships offered through DCCF are the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship and the Decatur County Community Foundation Scholarship.​

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

This scholarship provides one student living in Decatur County with a full-tuition payment and required fees for a four-year bachelor's degree program at any public or private accredited college or university in Indiana. The recipient will also receive a $900 stipend each year to purchase required books and equipment. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is administered by Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI). The Decatur County Community Foundation will make recommendations to ICI on the nominee. ICI will then determine whether to accept or deny the Foundation’s recommendation.

Decatur County Community Foundation Scholarship

Four scholarships, funded by the Decatur County Community Foundation, will be awarded to the finalists who do not receive the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Each scholarship will total a maximum of up to $5,000 and will be paid directly to the college or university towards tuition. The student may attend any public or private college or university located in Indiana.
