Lilly Endowment Community Scholar:
One scholarship will provide full payment of tuition and required fees for a four-year baccalaureate program at any public or private accredited college or university located in Indiana. Recipient will also receive a $900 stipend each year to purchase required books and equipment. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is administered by Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI). The Decatur County Community Foundation will make recommendations to ICI on the nominee. ICI will then determine whether to accept or deny the Foundation’s recommendation.
Decatur County Community Foundation Scholars:
Four scholarships, funded by the Decatur County Community Foundation, will be awarded to the finalists who do not receive the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Each scholarship will total a maximum of up to $5,000 and will be paid directly to the college or university towards tuition. The scholarship will be paid over the course of four years of study at an Indiana college or university. Recipients will be required to agree to and sign a scholarship Letter of Understanding.
With one application, you may be eligible to receive one of five possible scholarships. If you have any questions concerning this scholarship application, talk to your high school guidance counselor.
